Keep My Wine Holder Crochet Pattern
I do love my wine, I do love crocheting and I do love Bohemian Style. So of course I married the
two and added the 3rd just for fun. Hence, all combined and you get my Boho Keep My Wine Holder
crochet pattern! So they are totally perfect for on to go wine drinking. This pattern can be used for both stemmed and stemless wine glasses. The pattern is crocheted in round in one piece. Then you will add the strap and tassels to complete the project. The crochet stitches you will need to know are the chain, single crochet and slip stitch.

Keep My Wine Holder
Multiples of 3
Basic level project
Finished dimensions laying flat:
4” W x 3” T
Fits most average sized wine glasses, to adjust measure around wine glass add or remove 3
stitch repeat section (single crochet, ch 2)-1/3 stitch repeat section = 1”. Measure for
snug fit as yarn will need to stretch over glass.
Strap length:
17”
To adjust strap length measure around neck to where you want wine glass holder to rest
add or remove chains-4 chains = 1” in length)
Supplies:
1 skein Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton yarn (100% cotton, 3.5 oz/100 g, 180 yds/165
m) or any size 4 med weight yarn in 100% cotton, approximately will use 3 yds per wine
holder
G/6-5.25 mm hook MY FAVORITE HOOK OF CHOICE
Steel crochet hook to fit thru bead hole
6 wooden beads hair tie
3 stitch markers
Scissors
Yarn needle
Gauge:
6 st x 13 rows = 4” in single crochet
Abbreviations:
ch: chain
m: marker
rep: repeat
sc: single crochet
sl st: slip stich
sk: skip
Notes:
Chain 1 do not count as a stitch.
May adjust length of strap and size of wine glass holder per instructions in sizing.
Keep My Wine Holder Instructions:
Rnd 1: sl st to join on a elastic hair tie, 36 sc around hair tie, sl st to sc, see image A/1
and A-2. (36) sc
Rnd 2: ch 1, sc in same sp as ch 1, ch 2, sk 2 st, *sc in next st, ch 2, sk 2 st, rep from *
around, sl st to sc, m as right side. (12) sc,
Rnd 3: ch 1, turn, *sc in ch-2 sp, ch 2,rep from * around, sl st to sc.
Rnd 4-11: rep row 3
Fasten off
Strap
Lay wine holder flat, PM in a sc on each side with 6 ch-2 sp between m, see image A-3.
Sl st to st with m, add bead by pulling loop larger and remove hook, see image A-4.
Place bead on steel hook, pull loop thru bead, switch back to large hook and sc around
bead, add next bead, sc around bead, see image A-5 and A-6.
Tighten up loop, chain 116.
Add next 2 beads, sl st to st with m on other side, ch 7, add 2 beads, ch 2
Fasten off/weave in ends
